As someone who happily bought the censored version of The Martian (the educational one has scrubbed the swearing, sometimes comically so), I would have been very upset if I had bought the original and then had it swapped out without my knowledge or consent.

This whole “buy nothing and be happy about it” deal is getting worse all the time.
