Nothing makes me distrust a website more than seeing Google announcing it can sit atop the site with a list of my accounts at the ready.

It’s extremely unnerving.

If you hate this too, consider getting Firefox and the Google Container extension.

There is a setting in your Google account to disable this sign in request, but it seemingly only works if you have signed into your account and there is a cookie to be read. I start seeing the pop-up again whenever I delete cookies or use a private window. I have the DDG browser but don’t generally use it.
